This video describes the most common movement used to reduce a lower cervical derangement.
Having a disc bulge or herniation in the lower cervical spine around the C5/C6 or C6/C7 is very common and can cause a variety of pain and issues including scapular pain, shoulder pain, neck pain, and arm pain or numbness.

The first move to try in assessing if the disc issue has a directional preference, which means, it is highly likely to reduce with conservative treatment and would not require surgery, is using this retraction and eventually retraction/extension.
