The Cubs beat the Minnesota Twins yesterday to win the series, making that two in a row and three of the last four series for the Cubs as they start to play better baseball. Now they are off and gearing up to take on MLB's worst Chicago White Sox on Friday and Saturday on the Southside.
The Cubs signed former Brewer and Met pitcher Adrian Houser and he is in AAA, Keegan Thompson is activated off the injured list and also pitching in Iowa, plus Adbert Alzolay is set to undergo Tommy John surgery.
