The new SUMIFS() Function was introduced in Excel 2007. SUMIFS allows you to sum the values in one field based on matching criteria from two or more fields.
Very valuable!
However, if you are using Excel 2003 or older. Or, if you need to share workbooks with clients using Excel 2003 or older, you can use the DSUM() Funtion to produce the same results as SUMIFS.
