However, individuals with chronic back issues and spinal injuries, should approach backbends with caution or practice under proper guidance and support. Pregnant women and those with heart conditions should also avoid deep backbends. Always practice backbends mindfully and follow them with counter poses like Child's Pose, etc to neutralize the spine.
