Salisbury Steak with Mushroom Gravy
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
1 envelope onion soup mix (I used beefy onion)
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Mix ingredients and make your patties
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Fry the patties 1 or 2 minutes on each side set to the side
GRAVY:
2 tbsp butter
1/4 chopped onion
2 minced garlic cloves
8 oz sliced mushrooms cook for approx. 8 to 10 min
2 tbsp butter plus 2 tbsp all-purpose flour (Roux)
2 cups beef broth
1 tsp Worcestershire
TASTE THE GRAVY. PINCH OF SALT IF DESIRED
