Bought this 21" Canadian Zildjian (early 80s, pre-Sabian) recently in very 2nd-hand condition. It has some keyholing, a ding in the underside of the bell, and someone's done some pretty rough engraving under there too. It wasn't expensive.
At ~2460g It seems a little light for a Zildjian 21" ride so it could be a crash/ride.
It has 8 factory drilled holes for sizzle-rivets, but I had to enlarge the holes by about 1mm so they would accept the split rivets I have.
I have a soft spot for both Canadian Zildjians and sizzle cymbals so I had no choice here. Filmed it with no rivets, 4 rivets, and 8 rivets. What do you prefer?
I also did some playing on the kit with mallets and sticks on several different sizzle cymbals (all rivets, no ball-chains this time) but I really couldn't play well today - far too tense, couldn't get in the zone - so I'll try again tomorrow. Maybe...
