28 Jan. Decided to make this clip public in case anyone's interested in how this cymbal sounds.
Bought off TradeMe in 2023. I hoped it would sit with my vintage Paiste 602 cymbals, but it's a little bright for the buttery mellowness of the 1960s-70s 602s. It's something like a large splash and will cut through guitars, keyboards, horns, etc, in a rock/fusion type situation. It also makes a nice hi-hat top cymbal, so it's dual-purpose. (Paired with a 14" PST bottom hi-hat cymbal.)
Note: I didn't want to crash the cymbal too hard in the demo video as it was for sale. [SOLD]
