Filtersphere is John Kingston - guitar, and James Gilberd - percussion.
Formed in mid-2023, this is our 6th performance and our 1st outside Wellington city. Thank you to the folks at Common Ground in Featherston, Wairarapa, NZ, for putting on the event.
Perpets made their debut before us, with live painting on canvasses in response to the music.

Sorry the camera view is a bit 'drumcam'. I could barely see the video cam screen in the low light and it didn't have enough wide-angle to show more of us. Video brightness boosted in edit.

DrumFuckery notes:
This is the White Ghost kit in a performance situation - specifically what it was constructed for.
The high humidity really got to the calfskin head on two of the three bass drums. I'd tuned them an hour before we played but when we started the performance I realised the two bass drums had gone totally flat. Instead of Booooom I was getting Whump. It was like driving a car on two flat tyres, so I had to change how I played. I learned something about how much humidity affects calfskin drum heads, the bigger drums the most (the 14" brass snare/high tom as well, to a lesser extent). Luckily the 26" bass drum (right foot) with its modern plastic heads could still provide the deep rumble.
