Makes 12 small Jelabies
1 cup all purpose flour
3/4 cup water
1/4 tsp orange food colouring
3 tbsp corn starch
1/4 tsp baking soda
3 tbsp plain yogurt
.......
2 cups oil for frying
......
1 cup water
2 cups sugar
2 tbsp light corn syrup
....
To ferment over night mix flour, colouring and water, cover with a tea towel and let sit for 12 hours. Mix in the rest of ingredients and fry immediately and soaking in the syrup.
