Bose-Einstein statistics is a quantum statistics. The particles of the system are identical and indistinguishable having integral spin and symmetric wave function. These particles are collectively called Bosons. Bosons do not obey Pauli exclusion principle so that any number of Bosons may be in same quantum state. Taking these facts under account the occupation probability which is the average number of Bosons per quantum state has been calculated. This is also known as Bose-Einstein distribution function.
