Huge Progress on My City Builder Dream Game| Devlog
Creating a City Builder with depth and character, all while working as a part-time solo-developer. It's a tall order, but I've made some serious progress in my first six weeks.
In this video I add more villagers, a new profession, and I show how I'm working to build a foundation that will support a deep, character-driven city building experience.
All of this world building is for my dream game, Willard; a platforming adventure game with RPG elements, and a robust City-Building/Tower Defense mode where you befriend and recruit villagers to help you defend yourself in a post-apocalyptic world.
