What is NPCs actually needed to eat? What if they NEEDED to worship? Needed to have a sense of meaning in their lives?
In this video I begin to build the visual world of Willard, while trying to craft NPCs who are interesting to watch just in their own right. Whether you want to interact with them, or just watch them do their thing, I'm working to create NPCs who feel real. I'm aiming to create a world that truly feels lived in.
All of this world building is for my dream game, Willard; a platforming adventure game with RPG elements, and a robust City-Building/Tower Defense mode where you befriend and recruit villagers to help you defend yourself in a post-apocalyptic world.
