Ising Model, introduced by the physicist Earnst Ising, is a mathematical model which deals with the interaction between spins in a physical system. In this model it is assumed that in a physical system there are lattice points with which a spin variable Si is associated. This spin variable has two values +1 and -1 which represents the up and down spins respectively. Only neighboring spins interact one another. When a ferromagnetic material is placed in an external magnetic field then the Hamiltonian of the system contains two terms of energy -first one due to the spin-spin interaction and the second one is due to the interaction with the external magnetic field.
