Initial Thoughts:
First off, I am glad that Retro Fighters are continuing to evolve the Dreamcast controller, as the original is one of my least favorite I have ever used. This controller reminds me a lot of the Saturn controller, along with a bit of the Neo Geo gamepad. I don't quite know what the switch is for, whether it's to change the button modes or the device modes, so that is something I am going to have to wait to see about.

The fact that the D6 is wireless is absolutely wonderful, and I appreciate the fact that Retro Fighters is going straight to wireless and bypassing wired completely. In the past we've first gotten a wired version followed by a wireless one down the road. This is wireless first and foremost and I love that.

I like the 2 color options, but man, I'd love to see a transparent red one to go with my Dreamcast's case. The white and black look very good, don't get me wrong, but some of their transparent plastics surrounding these, similar to the Brawler 64, well that would be wonderful.

Where I see a lot of potential with the D6 is with the Nintendo Switch and Switch OLED, especially with Power Stone and Power Stone 2 coming to the system in the Capcom Fighting Collection 2 compilation. I think that many people are going to want a controller such as this to be able to play those fast and furious fighters and the D6 looks like it is more than up to the task.
