The past three weeks licks have been building to this in all honesty. Although we are not using the licks covered in the previous weeks for the reason that I would like to provide you with more than we have already played, but allowing you to build the licks into or around this 18 bar guitar solo with that emotional style to it. Slow blues, can be so rewarding at any ability as it allows you to learn to control notes and less focus is on the amount of notes, as many have already said "less is more" and that does ring very true. This solo you are learning today works through most aspects we have covered in the three week prior. We start with three octave movement with one lick, then onto a blues scale guitar lick leading to a double stop bend used by so many guitar legends to add power to the sound and then we finish with a natural minor scale descending run through multiple shapes ending on the root note of A. Micro licks can be taken easily from this solo, so don't worry if you can't tackle all of it in one go, take what you need to and use well.. Enjoy the guitar solo and have a great weekend.
