Today, I'm going to show you how to identify leaf diseases using Google Lens.
This can be useful if you notice issues with your tree, plant, or shrub and want to find the cause to treat it.
Some phones already have Google Lens in their camera app, but if you don't have it, you can install it from the Play Store.
I've already installed Google Lens on my phone, so I will just open it.
Now there are two ways to identify leaf diseases:
The first way is by using an existing photo on your phone.
Select the photo of the plant with bad leaves.
Tap on "Add to your search" and type the name of the tree, plant, or shrub you have. In my case, it's a rose.
As you can see, this disease was identified as Black Spot.
You can now click on the article and read about it to learn how to cure and prevent this from happening again.
Now go back to the app again.
The second way is by using your camera.
Tap on "Search with your camera."
Position the camera in front of the bad leaves.
Tap on "Search."
Then Tap on "Add to your search" and type the name of the plant or tree. Again, in my case, it's a rose.
As you can see, Google Lens gave the same results.
