In this video today we will see how to lock an individual chat on WhatsApp. We will also see how to find the locked chat and then unlock it again. So for that one let me go ahead and let me open WhatsApp application. So let me open WhatsApp and I have chats here. So suppose if I want to lock this chat I will select it. I will tap on this name at the top here. Scroll down and then I will select this option Chat lock. So I have the option to lock this chat with fingerprint only. So I will enable this option lock chat with fingerprint and then I have to use my fingerprint. So once I have used the fingerprint what I will do is I will go back. I will go back and I again go back to this main screen here. Now once you come to the main screen what you will notice is the chat is now hidden from here. You cannot see the chat here. So if you want to view the locked chat what you have to do is you have to pull the screen down and you will see locked chats option on the top. Tap on it and then again you have to use your fingerprint and here you will be able to see all the chats that you have locked. So open the locked chat and you will be able to see the chat. Now suppose if I want to unlock this chat what I will do is I will select the chat. I will tap on the name at the top here. Go down and then select Chat lock and then I have to disable this option lock this chat with fingerprint and then I have to again use my fingerprint. You can see that this option lock this chat with fingerprint is disabled. Let me go back to the main chat
screen and here now you can see the chat on the top. So it is unlocked.
