PowerPoint's Crop Tool is a little-known but POWERFUL asset to have in your design toolkit.
When used correctly, you can leverage the Crop Tool and various cropping techniques to make major edits to photos and graphic design layouts—all while using PowerPoint, one of the easiest tools for new graphic designers out there!
Using PowerPoint's Crop Tool, you can even use the same photo time and time again by using different areas of the crop boundary!
In my opinion, learning how to leverage the crop tool correctly is one of the best cheat codes for mastering graphic design and eLearning techniques. I've covered some of my favorite techniques in this video.

Overall, PowerPoint is one of my favorite tools that I always recommend to new designers when they're just getting started into the world of eLearning or graphic design. So many of the same techniques can be applied in Articulate Storyline, too... so it really does provide a great foundation for folks to get started learning industry-standard tools.
