HFD firefighter dies after east Houston warehouse wall collapse
Marcelo Garcia, a 10-year veteran of the Houston Fire Department, was pronounced dead at a hospital after responding to a warehouse fire late Wednesday in east Houston. The 42-year-old was among two casualties at the scene. Another firefighter was also injured in the blaze.
The warehouse was vacant when the fire broke out, authorities said.
