Marking the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Indonesia, the two countries launch a strategic collaboration through the Philippines-Indonesia Creative Economy Roundtable at the Sheraton Hotel in Pasay City on August 28, 2024.
Organized by the Foreign Trade Service Corps and Coordinating Office (FTSCCO) and Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC) - Jakarta, the Forum aims to create mutually beneficial partnerships that drive economic growth, foster cultural exchange and promote creativity and innovation in both countries.
It features exhibitions of proudly Filipino-made products and panel discussions covering topics on policy support systems, creative industries research and statistics, as well as the Philippines-Indonesia government-academe-industry collaboration. Additionally, the synergy between traditional and modern influences in both countries are highlighted, offering attendees a glimpse into the dynamic evolution of the two nations' creative industries.
The Philippines-Indonesia Creative Economy Roundtable gathers industry leaders comprising of government officials, industry professionals, artists and policy makers to further promote cross-border trade and market access for creative goods and services between the two nations.
