Beyonce made her film debut on July 26, 2002 in "Austin Powers in Goldmember." At this July 14, 2002 radio roundtable for the film, the then 20-year-old talks about researching Pam Grier films of the 70s for her role as Foxxy Cleopatra, and how the character lessened her own awkwardness in using "baby" as a term of endearment.
