"My periods are heavy" - what is actually a heavy period?
🩸 What is a heavy period? There are different ways to describe a period being 'heavy'. Ultimately, every woman's menstrual cycle is different and impacts each woman separately.
👩🏻⚕️ If you feel you have heavy periods, then I would recommend you to see your GP who can talk you through the management options for these and/or refer you to a gynaecologist. I discuss the different ways to manage heavy periods in an upcoming video.
