We do this by following low net carb, high lean protein, high fiber, and omega-3 fats! Often, I am questioned by clients, ‘Can I still eat my favorite foods?’ and more diabetic slow cooker, diabetic slow cooker recipes, diabetic slow cooker meals often ‘What can a prediabetic eat?’ The most important question I am asked is on reversing prediabetes. Diabetic Blueberry Bagels Recipe
1 cup carbquik
½ cup 2% plain greek yogurt
¼ cup blueberries
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a pan with non-stick aluminum foil.
Combine carbquik and yogurt in a bowl.
Form dough into a ball. Divide into 6 pieces.
Mold into a ball and form into a bagel.
Lay bagels in a pan.
Sprinkle with Everything Bagel Seasoning.
Spray top with non-stick cooking spray.
Bake for 18-20 minutes.
Nutrition Facts (per bagel):
Calories - 65
Total carbs - 9.6g
Fiber - 7.3 g
NET CARBS - 2.3 g
Diabetic Pizza
2 ounces of goat cheese
1 ½ shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup almond flour
1 tsp of Italian seasoning
Low sugar pizza sauce.
Additional shredded cheddar cheese.
Preheat the oven to 375. Line the baking pan with parchment paper.
Microwave cheeses for 1 min.
Combine with a fork. Add almond flour & Italian seasoning.
Spread onto pan. Bake for 12 min.
Spread pizza sauce and cheese.
Return to the oven for 10 min.
Diabetic Pasta
1 pkg of meatballs (I got these at Kroger)
1 bottle of raos
4 ounces of goat cheese
