The Black Door | Tales of Varouxvia: Ascension S43
The party returns to Ardent and Kenneth, only to find the enigmatic necromancer Andros sitting by the fire with their paladin friend. As they settle in, it becomes clear that reality has shifted in disturbing ways. The party soon realizes they are still very much in the clutches of the deadly Fungeon 42, a twisted labyrinth designed to push adventurers to their physical and mental limits.
With Andros' guidance, they begin to navigate the illusions and traps that permeate this dark place. The Fungeon's eerie, ever-changing environment constantly tests their resolve and sanity. As they work together to unravel the mystery and escape, they find themselves at the metaphysical boundary of reality, the ominous Black Door.
