Tomb of the Dragon Queen | Tales of Varouxvia: Ascension S48
In this session of Tales of Varouxvia: Ascension, the party awakens in Grimwhistle Depot, only to find the town under siege by a relentless undead frost giant named K'Sern. With the fate of the town hanging in the balance, they must seek entry to the enigmatic Mt. Mortis—a mountain built from the bones of those claimed by The Affliction. Gaining the key from the reawakened Sovereign Twimbly and joined by two mysterious necromancers, they navigate a labyrinth of ancient catacombs where the very walls seem to breathe with the souls of the fallen.
As they delve deeper, they encounter the remnants long dead dragons, each skull with their own requirements of unity, wisdom, regret, sacrifice, and courage. But the mountain holds darker secrets, and not all the dead rest quietly. Will they find the shard of divinity they seek, or will they awaken something far more dangerous?
