Kerala Inspired Indo-Chinese Prawns Stir-Fry Recipe | Spicy & Flavorful Fusion Dish | Ideal for Weeknight Dinners
Kerala-Style Indo-Chinese Prawns Stir-Fry is a delightful fusion dish that combines the bold, aromatic spices of Kerala with the vibrant flavors of Indo-Chinese cuisine. Succulent prawns are marinated and fried to perfection, then tossed in a savory sauce with fresh ginger, garlic, and colorful bell peppers. Ingredients :
Marination :
500 gms (280 gms net) Prawns ( shelled, deveined, washed & patted dry)
1 tbsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder (Kashmiri laal mirch powder)
¼ tsp Turmeric Powder (haldi powder)
1 tsp Black Pepper Powder (kali mirch powder)
1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste (adrak-lehsun paste)
2 tbsp Corn Flour (makke ka atta)
1 tbsp All Purpose Flour (maida)
1 no. Egg (anda)
½ tsp Salt (use as per taste)
Other Ingredients :
Sufficient Oil for frying
2 tbsp Coconut Oil (use as per your diet restrictions)
10 gms Ginger (finely chopped)
20 gms Garlic (finely chopped)
75 gms Shallots (sliced)
3 to 4 nos Dry Red Chillies (each cut into half)
7 to 8 nos Curry Leaves (karee patte)
¼ tsp Turmeric Powder (haldi powder)
1 tbsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
1 tbsp Coriander Powder (dhania powder)
½ tsp Garam Masala Powder
1 tbsp Tomato Ketchup (use more or less as per your taste)
¼ cup Hot Water
A pinch of Sugar (to balance out the flavors)
A pinch of Salt (as per taste)
50 gms Yellow Bell Pepper (yellow capsicum)
60 gms Green Bell Pepper (green capsicum)
2 tbsp Coriander Leaves (chopped)
1 tbsp Coconut Oil (optional)
Note : tsp is teaspoon
tbsp is tablespoon
Use Oil as per your diet restrictions
Use Chillies as per your spice preference
Always wash curry leaves & coriander leaves before use
