Paying tribute to China's paramount leader Deng Xiaoping, who died on Wednesday (19/02) US President Bill Clinton said in Washington on Thursday (20/02) that current American policy on China would be maintained and that he expected Beijing to continue the economic reforms instituted by Deng.

The policy will work where we agree and honestly air our disagreements and work through them..it is the right policy and we can do nothing..it is the right thing to do";
