“My name is Alia Amanpour. I am, actually, in my senior year, at Temple University. I'm a political science major. I have been involved with Temple SJP (Temple Students for Justice in Palestine) since the beginning of this year. I have been a lead organizer, as far as pro-Palestinian activism goes on Temple's campus. I think for as long as I can remember, I've been involved. My family has also been involved in a movement fighting for a free and democratic Iran against the tyrannical Iranian regime.”

They are enduring a 'scholasticide' amidst a genocide. And, so, although I care about my personal accomplishments and my personal academics deeply, it is always Palestine as a priority, Palestine first, the Palestinian people first, and centering the ongoing genocide.”
