MS US President Bill Clinton (english)
SOT Bill Clinton "We expect a basic continuity here. The Chinese are mindful of problems in their history of transition. Deng has set in motion a process that has been underway for two years and I think there has been continuity. It is something we can appreciate. Our policy will continue to engage with China and I look forward to all the meetings including Albright's trip. The policy will work where we agree and honestly air our disagreements and work through them..it is the right policy and we can do nothing..it is the right thing to do";
