Today in this video we will see how to lock the home screen of your Samsung device and what does it do. Now if I want to lock this home screen I will go to settings here. I will go to this option Display. I will go to this option home screen and select this option Lock home screen layout. So what does this do is it will prevent items on the home screen from being removed or repositioned. Now if I go to this home screen I have this icons of application at the bottom. I have this Google search bar. I have this clock. So once I lock the screen I won't be able to delete the application from the home screen. Also I won't be able to change the position of this application. For example let me tap and hold this icon here and if I try to drag I won't be able to drag. Similarly if I try to drag this one I won't be able to drag it. So what happens is once you lock the home screen the application icons present on the home screen can be removed or can be repositioned.
