How to send photos as documents in WhatsApp on Android
To send photos as document in WhatsApp on your Android device so that the quality of image will be maintained what you do is go ahead and open WhatsApp application at first. Then select the contact to whom you want to send the photo as document. Tap on this attach icon here. Go to this option Document. Now here you have two options on the top "Browse document" or "choose from Gallery". If you want to directly choose from gallery select this option and then you can select the photo. But if you want to choose from other folders then what you do is Select this option "Browse documents". Then tap on this icon here. Go to "Images" and you have different folders where you have images in your Android device. For me let me select Pictures and let me select this image. Once I do it I will tap on this send Arrow and what happens is this photo will be sent as document in WhatsApp application. If the photo is sent as a photo only then you can see the preview of the image. But if the photo is sent as document you will only see the name but not the preview. If you tap on the file you will get the option to open the image. So in this way you can send photos as document in WhatsApp on Android to maintain the image quality.
