We Have Choice as Players
Woke developers say you can't complain. It's common to see the trope of shaming people loyal to a franchise and saying "you have to like this" - but the reality is, we have choices.
When you get rid of a problem, it lets you focus on things that aren't problematic. The truth is, it's pretty easy to see once you step away and disconnect. It's liberating to take a break from things you don't really enjoy.
Developers and people trying to push an agenda also need to understand this: They aren't really holding all the cards. There's very talented, wonderful teams of people who can also get out of touch when they think they make the rules and can force their agendas on others - whether it's Ubisoft or Boeing, Cities Skylines or Elder Scrolls Online.
