Mission #12 (EXOTIC QUEST) - Reforging The Past (No Commentary) | Destiny 2: Beyond Light (PS4)
After a month and a half delay, Destiny 2: Beyond Light has finally graced our platforms. This expansion was marketed by Bungie as the game changer as we finally receive Darkness subclasses and enter the Age of Darkness that has been foreshadowed since the beginning of Destiny 1.
Beyond Light's story centers around the Jovian moon of Europa, the return of Variks and the Exo Stranger, and the rise to power of Eramis, Kell of Darkness. Mars, Mercury, Io, and Titan have just fallen to the Pyramids. Eramis, formerly a House Devils Baroness, steals a Crux of Darkness from the Europan surface and discovers the power of Stasis. Eramis descends into madness and plans to give this power to her army and begin a takeover of the system. Variks witnesses Eramis's transformation and flees in horror, blasting a distress signal to anyone who can hear it. At the same time, the Exo Stranger arrives once again in our timeline and undertakes an effort to thwart a dark future.
This video focuses on the twelth story mission "Reforging The Past". This mission is part of the exotic quest "The Lost Lament" which unlocked after the World's First team cleared the Deep Stone Crypt. Banshee is starting to regain some of his memories due to the orbital station crash on Europa. In particular, he keeps remembering a certain sword. We speak to the Clovis Bray AI in Bray Exoscience and he confirms that the sword in question was wielded by a mighty Exo centuries ago and agrees to help us find it. After a lengthy quest, this story mission triggers which involves the Vex launching an attack against the Clovis AI in an attempt to prevent us from reforging the sword. Upon completion of this mission, you receive the exotic sword "The Lament".
