How to create topics for your SEO strategy in HubSpot
In this HubSpot tutorial, we will walk you through how-to create topics for your SEO strategy in HubSpot.
Using HubSpot's SEO tools, you can research and organize topics and subtopic keywords based on your company's areas of expertise. These topics serve as the foundation for all the content you create on your blog and website.
To create a topic
Step 1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing and go to Website click SEO.
Step 2. Click the Topics tab.
Step 3. In the upper right, click Add a topic.
Step 4. Enter a topic in the text field, then click Add to analyze SEO metrics for this topic.
Step 5. Review the topic's Monthly Search Volume and Difficulty validation metrics, which you can compare with the metrics for Recommended Topics.
Step 6. To view topic validation data for a different location, click the Country dropdown menu in the upper left and select another location.
Step 7. After researching data for your topic, select the radio button next to the topic you want to write about. Then in the bottom left, click Create Topic.
That’s how you can add topics for your SEO strategy in HubSpot.
