UNCOMPLICATED CARD FLIP: Add More Interactivity to Your Cards with @Figma (Interaction, UI)
In this video, I show you how to create a card flip interaction in Figma. If you've ever come across complicated tutorials on the subject, I've been there too. So, I decided to simplify everything for you!
In the video, I use an example with movie covers and also explain how to create star ratings. First, I'll show you the elements you'll need, and then we'll create a frame for our prototype.
We'll use variants for the front and back of the card and connect the two parts using Smart Animate to make the flip smooth. We'll also organize the design to improve visibility in Figma.
Next, we'll adjust the text visibility, making it invisible on the front page and visible on the back page. This is important for the interaction to work correctly. And voilà! Your card flip in Figma will be ready.

3D is my new passion. It's a complex world but filled with rewarding challenges. I believe I can bring this reality into a simpler-to-understand scenario. Today, Photoshop has a 3D tool that can yield cool results.
TRANSITION TO UI/UX DESIGN
I'm currently transitioning my career to UI/UX design. I still have a lot to learn, but if you're an experienced designer, I can tell you that this career transition is less complex than people say.
