SIMPLE yet EXPRESSIVE Page: Transforming Interface with Neo Brutalism (Step-by-Step Tutorial)
In this video, I'm going to transform this functional and clean interface into something more fun: neo-brutalism. This contemporary aesthetic values simplicity and expressiveness, bringing a bolder visual. If you've seen this aesthetic in posts or on Figma, you'll know what I'm talking about.
Let's start with the font. I'll switch it to something more intense, and of course, I'll share some shortcuts to speed up the process because who doesn't like to make life easier, right?
Neo Brutalism seeks fewer effects, more simplicity, and its colors tend to be more desaturated. I'll apply this here, replacing the colors with more subdued tones and intensifying the contrast. I'll increase the fonts, make some adjustments, add a stroke to highlight, and, of course, adjust the shadows, making them sharper and without blur, a distinctive feature of this style.
We'll also play with the loose aesthetic. I'll adjust some elements, like a testimonial block, adding a more interactive touch and changing the background to a softer tone. The flying icons are a fun touch. I'll use a plugin to create speech bubbles, bringing dynamism to the design, and of course, more shortcuts to save time!
