In this video I will walk through how to use the Dciag command line utility to check domain controller health. This command can also be used to test dns.

There are issues with running the dns tests remotely. I recommend running those on the local server.

Basic usage on a local server
dcdiag

to enable verbose for more details use the following command
dcdiag /v

To run just a dns test run the following command
dcdiag /test:dns
