In this video, I show you how to reset multiple users password in Active Directory using the AD Pro Toolkit. You may need to quickly reset all users password after a security incident or policy change.
Steps:
1. Create a CSV file with a sAMAccountName, password and pwdLastSet column.
2. Fill out the csv with user details
3. Open the AD Pro Toolkit. Select the bulk user modification tool, select your csv file and click run.
If you need a list of users you can use the export users tool to export all users or users from a specific OU.
To require users to change their password at next logon add the pwdLastSet column and set the value to 0.
After you have reset users passwords you can check which ones require changing their password by user reports \ password reports \ Users that must change password at next logon.
