Rename sAMAccountName and UPN in Active Directory
How to rename the sAMAccountName and UPN in Active Directory using the AD Pro Toolkit.
Step:
1. Create a CSV template. You can export a list of users with the toolkit or create one from scratch. The template should include sAMAccountName, userPrincipalName and ID column.
2. Modify the CSV and rename the sAMAccountnames and or UPNs.
3. In the toolkit select User Management - Bulk User Modification
4. Select Update options and select your ID Column
5. Select your template and click Run.
