Azure is a cost effective way of provisioning resources, but only a few of the services are free. Many of the services iccur costs, which in turn, means keeping track of those costs. You can view the current cost of an Azure subscription by logging into the Portal on a regular basis to check on it, but this is time consuming and tedious. Thankfully, there is a way to have Azure monitor your costs and contact you if you go over a preset threshold.
In this video, David is going to use the Azure Portal to set up an Azure Budget to monitor cost, and configure it to send an e-mail when an alert threshold is exceeded.
