My one year old nano jar aquarium has been neglected for months. The plants were so thick, it was hard to do anything to the tank. I decided it was time for a refresh. I took all of the plants and shrimp out of the jar for a fresh start. After adding new aquasoil and sand, I put a couple of the plants back in. I’ll definitely be adding more plants in the future. I’m thinking smaller crypts or dwarf hairgrass in the front empty area. I’m already thinking about starting a new nano jar aquarium. Mini jar ecosystems are so fun to watch evolve. It was time to rebuild this one year old jarrarium.
