Doing a deep clean of my one year old nano fish tank. I always start by taking off the glass lid and the two pieces of plastic mesh in the back. I used a pipette to push air into hard to reach areas. This pushes all the detritus to the front and into the water column. I attached a pair of tweezers to my siphon hose so I can stir up the sand while I’m removing the water. I’ve done this a few times, and it always gets everything so much cleaner.
