I filled two containers with 0.25 gallons of water from the tank. In one of the containers I used 1/4 tablespoons of aquarium salt and let that dissolve. Once it was fully dissolved I caught the shrimp and added it to the salt bath for about 2 minutes. I then scooped her up and put her in the container with only tank water to rinse off any of the salt. After I added her back to the tank, I noticed that it helped get rid of the vorticella a little bit, but further treatment will be needed. The next day I did a treatment of No Planaria. This has been shown to also get rid of vorticella. I followed the instructions on the bag. I used 1 spoonful because I was treating about 12 gallons of water. 2 days after the first treatment, I did a second one but only used half a spoonful.
