HIGHLIGHTS | LSU Football Spring Game 4.22.23
The LSU Football team had its annual spring game in Tiger Stadium. The offense and defense tied 32-32.
The Tigers had four different quarterbacks playing throughout the game. Quarterback Jayden Daniels finished 10-11 passing for 168 yards and two touchdowns. Kyren Lacy and Trey Holly both scored touchdowns on passes received from Daniels.
Garrett Nussmeier also had two touchdowns. Brain Thomas and Landon Ibieta both scored touchdowns on passes received from Nussmeier.
Freshman linebacker Whit Weeks intercepted freshman quarterback Rickie Collins throw. Weeks ran 55 yards for a touchdown. He then gave Purple a 14-7 lead against White in the first quarter.
The Tigers will head to compete in their first game of the season against Florida St. Sunday, Sept. 3rd at Camping World Stadium.
