In this video I'm going to show you how to setup dual monitors on your Windows 10 PC.
The first step is to figure out what ports are in your graphics card. It's recommended to interface your monitors directly into your graphics card and not your motherboard.
On your graphics card, look to see if it has 2 HDMI ports or 1 HDMI port and 1 DVI port. If it has an HDMI and a DVI port, then you need to make sure one of your monitors can connect via DVI or you can buy an HDMI to DVI adapter.
With my graphics card, I had to purchase an HDMI to DVI dongle so I could plug in the HDMI into my monitor and then into the DVI port for my 2nd screen.
You'll always want your primary screen to be plugged in via HDMI. After you have both monitors plugged into your GPU, you'll want to go into you Windows settings and set up the orientation of your monitor and modify the settings.
Be sure to have extend displays selected as this is the most common way to use dual monitors. Then you can select the 1 or 2 monitors and make specific customizations to that monitor.
Those are the steps for setting up your dual monitors. Let me know if you have any other easier methods in the comments below.
