How to Record Your Screen on OBS [Easy Method]
Learn how to record your screen on OBS in these few simple steps. In the video I show you how to change your output settings to the proper video output settings for your device and resolution.
After you open OBS, go into your settings and click output. Then select the recording location so you know where to locate your recorded screen after you stop recording. Set your audio inputs to default because those settings will be the default devices you set up on your computer.
Next you're going to click the plus button under the scene section on OBS. With the new scene, you're going to add a couple sources. Click the plus button under sources and select display capture. In the display capture window, select your computer display and click ok.
Next, click the plus button again under sources and add an audio input capture. Select the device you're using and click ok. Now you've added your computer screen as the display and an audio device for recording.
When your sources are set up, you can click start recording on the right menu and then navigate your screen and it'll capture everything on your display. When you're done, open OBS again and click on stop recording.
Your recorded file will be located where you set the folder destination in the setting. And those are the complete steps for recording your screen on OBS.
