How to Switch Back to a Personal Account on Instagram [Easy Method]
In this video I'll show you how to switch back to a personal account on Instagram. If you have a professional account on Instagram, you may find that you want to switch it back to a personal account and that it's hard to find that specific setting.
First, if you're a creator or a business and want to switch back to a personal account, then it will erase your analytics data on your posts. You won't lose followers or likes or comments.
When you're in the app you want to go to the top right hamburger menu. Open the menu and scroll down to the section labeled For Professionals. Then click on the button Creator tools and controls.
In the next menu, near the bottom is a button that says switch account type. Click that button and you'll receive a prompt to switch to personal account or switch to business account. Select switch to personal account.
It'll notify you that you'll be losing your insight data for your content. Then select Switch to Personal Account again and it'll take a few minutes to switch it back to a personal account.
