In this video, I'll show you how to set up dual monitors on a mac. The first step is determining the ports on your monitors that you'll be connecting to your macbook.
On newer monitors, the most comment port is going to be HDMI. You may have a VGA or a DVI connection. The newer macbooks have an HDMI port on the right side of the laptop that'll make it so you can easily connect to one additional monitor. The remaining ports on the macbook are USB-C ports, so you'll most likely need an adapter.
For my dual monitors, I had to buy an HDMI to USB-C adapter. Then I connected one monitor via HDMI cable and then my second monitor was connected via HDMI through my HDMI to USB-C adapter.
Once you connect the two monitors, then you'll want to make sure they are arranged correctly in relation to your macbook screen. Open the settings on your mac and then click on displays. Click on the Arrange button and you'll have access to move the dual monitor screens to any location to make a seamless experience for you and your mouse pointer as you navigate the multiple screens.
