Analysing Photo of Grand Duchess Anastasia
This photo of Anastasia standing on the window sill in her 2nd floor bedroom at the Alexander Palace, holding a camera, was probably snapped by one of her sisters. But there is another photo, taken from the vantage point of this window, of the street downstairs, where you can see part of the shoe Anastasia is wearing in the original. Clearly it is a photo that Anastasia herself took at about the same time. It's interesting to have found these two photos at separate occasions and it's fun making the connection between them.
