There are situations in life when you are going or driving somewhere, but your hands must remain free. For such cases, you need a small wallet on your wrist to put everything you need there.
The best thing is that these wallets come in different sizes, colors, styles and you can choose the one that suits your needs.
For example, for traveling, you can choose an option where you can put your passport and boarding pass there, which will allow you to go through security at the airport or train station without any problems, otherwise you’ll always put your ticket in and don’t remember where. Then you search all your pockets and bags.
At the hotel you can add your room key there.
I need a wallet that contains a small amount of money and a bank card. Suitable materials for making are denim or linen. In this case, the product will be light and durable.
How to sew:
1) First you need to measure the circumference of your wrist, add 1 cm to this value for the loose fit and 2 cm for the clasp. I got a length of 22 cm, width of 9 cm.
2) Using this pattern, I cut out 2 parts. For rigidity, you can smooth interlining onto one part. Since my fabric is thick, I only ironed strips of interlining for fastening.
3) I connected both parts with the right sides facing inward and stitched along the edge, leaving room for turning it inside out. The result is a wide strap with a flap.
4) There will be a pocket in the middle, I made it from 2 layers of fabric.
5) The pocket was sewn to the strap.
6) You can choose buttons as a fastener, then you need to punch loops, Velcro, zipper, buttons for them. I chose the latter for myself.
I bought these plastic buttons and the press itself for installing accessories at Waldberry.
I use them for fastenings on various products: duvet covers, pillowcases, children's clothes...
Thanks to its compact size, my wallet fits all the necessary little things and is completely safe.
